Role and Responsibilities:

Under the responsibility of the Human Resources Manager and in order to act as a true occupational health and safety change agent, we are seeking for our Kruger Brompton Plant an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator who is able to develop and coordinate various hazard prevention programs in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.

More specifically, you will:

  • Act as an expert advisor to Management and closely support managers in various operating sectors (apply accident prevention and monitoring tools);
  • Determine, share and enforce prevention rules, regulations and procedures (including use of PPE, position-specific training, emergency measures, fire, safety…);
    • Define and implement occupational health and safety promotional activities in accordance with the organization’s rules, policies and action plan;
  • Coordinate the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee’s activities, participate in those activities and track them;
  • Participate in Kruger Group’s health and safety activities and external health and safety activities and represent the Employer at such activities; and
  • Perform all other related duties.


Qualifications and Experience:

Do you demonstrate real leadership? Do you know how to mobilize those around you?

Do you have a B.A. in Human Resources or other specialized occupational health and safety training?

Do you have a minimum of five years’ experience and are you very familiar with occupational health and safety in a manufacturing setting?
