Role and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Shipping/Finishing Superintendent, we are seeking for our Kruger Brompton Plant an Optimization Advisor who is able to diagnose, solve and monitor various production process related issues in an effort to ensure continuous improvement.

More specifically, you will:

  • Promote good workplace health and safety and work environment practices;
  • Provide the necessary expertise to assist the Engineering Department in resolving daily issues and implementing continuous improvement projects;
  • Collect and analyze statistical data on cost issues, delays, volumes, etc.…; provide feedback to stakeholders; and suggest short-, medium- and long-term corrective measures/actions;   
  • Help reduce production unit downtime; and
  • Perform all other related duties.


Qualifications and Experience:

Are you a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and do you have training in Automated Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or in another relevant field?

Do you have relevant experience in the manufacturing sector?

Are you a techie and proactive? Do you have interpersonal skills? Are you able to demonstrate leadership?

*Knowledge of computer systems and software (Office, JD Edwards) will be considered an asset!
