Position Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst will work closely within our team to ensure and assist with data quality, data accuracy and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; be comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Management, Sales, Finance, and colleagues. A hands-on self-starter.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

•             Strong Accounting and Business Analysis background

•             Hands on revenue transaction validation and processing

•             Review and send invoices which have already been prepared. This includes checking each invoice for completion and accuracy. Help automate the sending in the near future

•             Check distribution of payments to providers and partners for each invoice

•             Assist with the month-end close process and liaison with sister-company

•             Support/develop reports on financials, invoicing activity using excel, google spreadsheets

•             Help build and integrate invoicing system

•             Participate in forecasting and budgeting

•             Work with customer AP departments to set up new accounts and troubleshoot any held up payments

•             Meaningful and relevant background

•             Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline preferred

•             Strong Microsoft Office suite skills – including the ability to turn data quickly into information (pivot tables, v-lookups, advanced formulas, graphs, charts etc) that is in a usable format for decision-making

•             Experience with Salesforce.com reporting, Tableau, and Zendesk are a plus

•             Analytical with great communication skills

•             Proven analytics and project management skills

•             Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work

•             Strong customer services skills and responsiveness to questions

•             Strong communication skills and the ability to produce information for presentation to senior level executives in a clear and concise manner

•             Contract Administration

•             Manage key provisions agreed to in contracts to keep compliant with customers

•             Notify customers when they are no longer exclusive within Scout

•             Good fit for fast-paced, fast-growing, scaling startup

•             Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and re-prioritize as needed

 

Qualification Requirements:

•             Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

•             Strong Microsoft Office suite skills – including the ability to turn data quickly into information (pivot tables, advanced formulas, graphs, charts etc) that is in a usable format for decision-making

•             Recruiting or staffing experience a plus

•             Proven analytics and project management skills

•             Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work

•             Strong communication skills

•             Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

•             Strong customer services skills and responsiveness to questions in a timely and thorough manner

•             Experience with Salesforce.com reporting and data management.
