This position provides a critical customer service role for all our branch locations. This is a part-time position averaging 35 hours per week (standard part-time schedule to be Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m.– 6 p.m. with rotating closing schedule 12:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and rotating Saturday from 8 a.m.-12p.m.). In addition to salary, this position would be eligible for all Bankers Trust benefits (health benefits, 401k, paid-time off, etc.) and an annual incentive/bonus.
Provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers regarding account information and bank products and services. Perform a variety of banking functions including processing of online accounts, processing stop payment requests and transferring funds for customers. Generate revenue by using product knowledge to refer and cross-sell bank products and services.
Provide accurate information about accounts and bank products and services via telephone and email.
Act as a liaison between customers and operational departments of the bank. Examples include facilitating research requests, ATM Disputesstop payment orders, check orders, funds transfer requests, fee reversals, processing checking reserve/personal line of credit applications, verifying online banking enrollments, and resolving ATM & bill payment disputes for customers.
Refer and cross-sell bank products and services through outbound sales calls and referring callers to other areas of the bank.
Identify customer issues and notify management, branches, security officer, or any other relevant personnel. Send a Branch Alert when necessary.
Assist personal and business customers with online banking and mobile banking issues.
Process Online Accounts.
Ability to give direction via phone.
Prepare and send out letters/packets of information to targeted customers regarding banking products/services.
High School Diploma or equivalent
One-year experience in a customer contact position with emphasis on sales.
Previous telemarketing experience desired.
Prefer previous banking experience and/or knowledge of financial products/services
Excellent customer relations skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills and knowledge
Demonstrated sales ability.
Basic data entry skills.
Ability to multi-task.
