The Transit Authority of River City (TARC) is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to fill the full time position of Systems Administrator in the Information Technology Department. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a technology related field with three (3) years of work related experience plus relevant certifications. A combination of education, experience and training may be substituted when competency in the position is demonstrated. Duties require identifying, diagnosing and implementing solutions associated with server administration tasks including user and group administration, group policies, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and other applications. Maintain and troubleshoot internal infrastructure including Cisco VoIP, Meraki Wireless, VMware Horizon VDI, firewalls, routers, switches, printers, SAN, access control, internet, LAN and network connectivity while staying abreast of technological advances. Will be responsible for Maintaining backup & recovery procedures and also recommend and implement policies and procedures. Will work closely with users and resolve issues along with preparing laptops, desktop computers and servers. Should be familiar with Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 and newer, Office products, PowerShell, Anti-Virus administration, Microsoft Exchange, standard security practices, Network Protocols, and documentation This candidate must possess strong problem solving/critical thinking skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work with a diverse population. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
