A minimum of five to seven (5-7) years Human Resources experience supporting and/or leading a variety of HR activities in a fast-paced environment (recruiting, EEO Compliance, training, and retention) in the construction industry. PHR or SHRM Certified Professional Preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
Ability to travel up to 50%.

We are currently looking for a Human Resource Generalist to join our team. This position will be responsible for the full life-cycle non-exempt recruiting for high-volume, hourly field/remote operations; writing job descriptions, coordinating and hosting job fairs, posting jobs, sourcing, conducting phone screens and preparing offers; Administration of an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) required (e.g., Taleo, Workday, Success Factor, etc.) EEO/AAP reporting and knowledge of 16-Steps; Training and development coordination, facilitation and administration. Knowledge of Employment Laws (EEOC, DOL, DOT, FLSA, EEO/AAP, HR practices/company policies and core fundamentals of the human resources function is required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Full life-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly field recruiting. Travel to job site locations required.
Partner with hiring managers and HR team to identify staffing needs, source, advertise, filter through resumes, phone screen and prepare offer letters.
Manage the documentation, analysis, reporting and related tasks to ensure ongoing compliance with EEO/AAP regulation for contract administration.
Ensure all OTJ/trainee contract requirements are met.
Generate and submit EEO-1 report annually.
Conduct 16-steps training at all project sites at onset of project and throughout as required. Respond to requests for information and handle all compliance audits.
Ensure all Outreach and 16-steps are completed at all job sites.
Administer, Support and/or Lead Talent Management Initiatives:
Partner with VP Human Resources to identify and implement a new Talent Management platform and initiatives such as a new online tool for EDD’s (Employee Development Discussions) and creating Career Progressions for Hourly jobs.
Partners with VP Human Resources to support the coordination, facilitation and administration of a variety of in-house training programs (leadership programs, Wagman U courses, Field Crew Leader training, etc.)
Administers and tracks all training certifications; engages with department managers and employees to ensure renewals are completed on-time.
Partners with hiring managers and job site project managers to enroll, track and maintain OTJ Programs, Apprenticeship Programs and company sponsored training programs (Crane Operator, Drill Rig Operator, etc.)
Identifies issues and recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
Other duties may be assigned as needed based on business and project needs.
