Corporate Accounting Manager

ESSENTIAL  DUTIES  AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Maintain general ledger for all Corporate journal entries
  • Month-end financial analysis for all Corporate departments
  • Preparation of daily cash report
  • Corporate bank account reconciliations
  • Corporate Sales commissions computation
  • Balance sheet reconciliation for all Corporate accounts
  • Prepare the monthly consolidation template
  • Assist in annual Budget preparation for the Finance department
  • Participate in limited testing of internal controls pursuant to Sarbanes Oxley 404
  • Participate in PBC and footnote preparation for the SEC circular filings
  • Support financial planning in the preparation and review of forecast related reports for Corporate departments
  • Preparation of bank deposits and record cash receipts.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Demonstrate effective communications, written and oral.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting with 3-5 years relevant work experience.  Financial statement close and consolidation as well as experience Lawson, Hyperion and Crystal a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports and business correspondence.  Ability to effectively and persuasively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to use standard office equipment and systems (i.e., computer, Microsoft Office).  Familiarity with ERP system (e.g. Lawson, Hyperion) preferred.  Ability to travel.
