Level Up @ Amicus is our Summer Internship Program, created to give students an opportunity for experiential learning in a corporate environment. This is a meaningful, mutually beneficial program where students will bring innovation and drive that will help us reach our goals. In turn, our highly-skilled Amicus team will help students apply what they already know, and broaden their knowledge base.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship that will run from May 18, 2020 until August 14, 2020. For best consideration, candidates should apply by no later than February 9, 2020.
The AT-GAA Global Marketing Team is responsible for engineering the global brand strategy to guide the launch of AT-GAA for late-onset Pompe Disease, as well as developing key tactics at the global level. The global brand strategy and global tactics are then pulled through for use by our regional teams. The Global Marketing Intern will have responsibility focused on leading key aspects of the global marketing strategy. He/she will help drive the brand strategy and tactical development of marketing materials for key customer segments.
Roles and Responsibilities
The AT-GAA Global Marketing Intern is responsible for:
Support global launch planning for AT-GAA:Help further develop global launch strategy and supporting marketing materials, as well as work with external agency partners.
Evaluate ways to create brand value through both traditional means and emerging digital technologies to ensure adherence to our brand strength and values and to create a robust brand experience.
Be part of developing the core brand messages, product positioning statements, and supporting collateral materials.
Assist in coordinating content, planning and logistics around large internal meetings with cross-functional stakeholders and regional team members
Help champion and manage the AT-GAA unbranded and branded materials through global Copy Review Board (CRB).
Ensure compliance with all Amicus policies and procedures, as well as all local regulatory and legal requirements.Ensure that appropriate systems and processes are in place to meet these requirements.
Drive a high performance culture by fostering innovation, customer focus, personal accountability and commitment for results.
Have clear alignment with Amicus mission statement and culture including a passion for patients and the ability and desire to interact with multidisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative environment.

Experience in working effectively in a growing dynamic organization with a matrix and global environment, and hold position without extensive infrastructure support and supervision.
Gaining confidence and credibility to partner with Medical, Clinical, Patient Advocacy and Business Operations counterparts.
Developing the fortitude to lead initiatives and willing to take stand to advocate for programs.
Growing you problem solving ability and building strong scientific and analytical skills.
Developing strong written and oral communication skills (in English), including practicing formal presentation skills in front of internal and external audiences.

Qualifications and Background Requirements
Must be a current full-time MBA student to apply
MBA Student or Graduate Student currently pursuing a degree in Marketing Communications or Business-Related Field. Bachelor’s degree required.
Familiarity with classic marketing discipline and digital marketing experience desirable.
Experience at an advertising agency working with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients will also be considered.
