Hamilton Island Enterprises has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Hotel Systems Administrator. This position is a hands-on technical role responsible for the administration and support of various software applications.   

About the role

  • Manage helpdesk queue 
  • Respond to escalations from the business 
  • Build SOPs for repetitive tasks to ensure consistency and standards 
  • Perform system administration functions including user access, security profiles, management of lists
  • Perform Point Of Sale system changes for menu changes
  • Maintain standards across the board for all systems
  • Provide a Helpdesk service in relation to software queries for these systems within guidelines and SLAs
  • Liaise with software vendors to log support requests
  • Training of end users and/or co-ordinate with the System Trainers when required
  • Monitor interfaces between systems for accuracy and frequency and ensure manual data transfers are available for business continuity.

About You

  • Higher School certificate 
  • Working knowledge of hotel systems 
  • Hotel industry experience in operations, preferably Front Office or Food & Beverage 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and flexible attitude 
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
