The Hamilton Island People, Culture and Development team is seeking a maternity leave cover for our Employee Relations Manager. This is a fixed term position starting from 18/09/2019 to 30/06/2020.
This position allows for the right candidate to either live on island or commute from Airlie Beach. This position provides strategic and operational advisory, reporting and consultancy support to all levels of management on a range of employee relations and wellbeing matters, ensuring compliance with the Australian legislative and regulatory IR framework.

About The Role
Provide advice and support on all employee relations matters
Manage all Fair Work Australia and Employee Organisation dealings and complaints
Research, develop, implement and review all employee relations related policies and procedures
Oversee general company-wide communications and change management strategies
Provide employee relations strategic direction throughout the company
Provide advice, and monitor and track all immigration visas and immigration legislative changes
Manage and supervise all on-boarding and induction
Undertake duties as required and agreed upon by the General Manager - People, Culture & Development
Qualification in HR Management
1-3 years senior Employee Relations experience
HR systems and reporting experience
