Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Handyperson to join our Maintenance team.  As a Handyperson you will carry out general maintenance duties across the island always ensuring a quick response to guest and staff requests.

About The Role

• Full time permanent position
• Live on island and willing to participate in an on-call roster
• Ensure all buildings, fixtures and fittings are maintained and repaired on a timely basis
• Prioritise and attend to urgent repairs required for guest comfort and satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of times and materials used on all workshop requisitions
• Maintain allocated vehicles in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition
• Performs any other duties as requested by the Handyperson Supervisor

About You

• Valid driver licence
• White construction card
• Work Safely at Heights
• Elevated Work Platform above 11 metres (Highly regarded)
• Partial trade qualifications an asset
• Reliable and flexible attitude
• Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
