Business Development Coordinator - PFR 


Penfed Realty is hiring a Business Development Coordinator in our Alexandria, VA office. The primary purpose of this job is to be responsible for daily tasks associated with Accounting, Administration and support to the overall department. This position will interact with company personnel, providing assistance as needed to all divisions of Business Development.


Essential Functions

  • Support the preparation and launch of trainings, meetings and webinars.
  • Prepares marketing and promotional materials
  • PowerPoints, Booklets, Handouts etc…
  • Perform bookkeeping and reporting functions for the Business Development Department in conjunction with the Accounting Department.
  • Maintain the company ticket system for the department.
  • Order materials for preparation and dissemination of Relocation Welcome Packages.
  • Monitor Social Media accounts and blogs, posting material as provided.
  • Maintain and update agents’ team, partner portals and systems of records.
  • Perform all administration duties.
  • Assist with maintaining PFR’s compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances by abiding by PenFed/PFR compliance program and all policies, procedures, rules and regulations.


Education and Experience

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Associates Degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience that provide necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience is required.
  • Excellent business communication skills and the ability to multi-task are critical.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Accounting Software, CRM’s beneficial, but not required.


Supervisory Responsibility

This position will not directly supervise employees.


Licenses and Certifications

There are no additional licenses and/or certifications required for this position. 


Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*



Limited travel to various worksites is required.
