Summary

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty (PenFed Realty), a wholly owned subsidiary of PenFed Credit Union (PenFed), is hiring a Manager, Branch Operations – PFR in Flower Mound, Texas. The primary purpose of this job is to be responsible for creating and implementing systems in multiple departments to ensure duplicable results.

 

Essential Functions

  • Recruit, develop programs, train and retain all transaction management staff, including but not limited to, Account Manager, Closing Managers, and Closers & Closing Assistants.
  • Supervise branch staff under the direction of the VP of Operations. This supervision includes establishment of productivity and goals for staff members including, but not limited to:
    • Conduct one on one meeting with each staff member at least twice a month.
    • Provide staff motivation through positive incentives.
    • Perform effective staff coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions for managed team members not meeting their standards and/or not performing their job in a manner consistent with management directive or PenFed Policy and Procedures.
    • Provide verbal feedback and coaching by way of a private meeting with individual staff members.
    • Produce a written evaluation on an annual basis for each staff member under their supervision. The annual evaluation must be written and administered under the guidelines provided in PenFed Personnel Policy and Procedures.
  • Liaison for PenFed Texas Agent Services program responsible for creating raving fans of employees, agents and their clients.
  • Ensure PenFed Realty transactions are compliant with Real Estate Board regulations.
  • Review & maintain PenFed Realty transaction files & forms.
  • Manage branch office transaction pipeline, troubleshoots problematic files and negotiates workouts with third party real estate brokerage firms.
  • Review competitive market practices and makes recommendations concerning adjustments to programs in related areas.

 

Education and Experience

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ of progressively responsible experience in residential real estate
  • brokerage.
  • Degree in a related field or meaningful job experience in the areas of real estate and
  • management.
  • Knowledge of computer operations including standard software applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups, meet deadlines, and
  • manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Forward-thinking and team-oriented.
  • Extensive experience in taking solution from idea to implementation.

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will directly supervise employees.

 

Licenses and Certifications

There are no additional licenses or certifications required.

 

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*

 

Travel

Limited travel to various worksites is required.
