We are currently searching for a Diversity & Inclusion Business Partner to join our team in Minneapolis.  The Business Partner will lead, support and execute efforts across the firm while partnering with internal HR and business line partners and the Diversity & Inclusion Council.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Guide D&I strategy by partnering with senior leaders and HR partners
  • Coordinate with the recruiting team to lead D&I recruiting efforts across the firm
  • Manage D&I recruiting events alongside the recruiting team
  • Manage the firm’s D&I partnerships and propose new ideas and strategy
  • Partner with the training & development team on online and in person training as related to D&I
  • Work directly with the D&I Council
  • Meet with the D&I co-chairs to provide updates and suggestions/advice for the council meetings
  • Coordinate the nomination and selection process for new D&I Council members
  • Provide the D&I Council co-chairs and council members with support and resources as needed or requested
  • Develop and work with ongoing metrics

Additional areas of responsibility:

  • Network with peers at financial services companies
  • Provide updates to the Human Capital team and business lines heads on D&I strategy and efforts including ongoing metrics
  • Serve on the SIFMA D&I Committee
  • Manage the immigration process for both current employees and potential recruits
  • Perform other duties or responsibilities as needed or assigned

This position will require both strategic advice and support along with administrative support and coordination.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of D&I related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field
  • Experience in financial services preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to function and produce results in a fast-paced, high performance, growth-oriented environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and anticipate needs of the group
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter who is able to work with little direction
  • Ability to be creative and flexible
  • Must possess ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a timely and professional manner
  • Comfortable sharing perspectives with senior leaders and in group settings
